I am the Founder and Director of Engageability – a human resources consultancy with a focus on talent management. I started Engageability in 2014 while working with Carrera and seeing the opportunity to support our recruitment clients throughout the talent lifecycle - ensuring they were not only hiring the best possible candidates for their business but that they were also onboarding and developing talent; and maximising engagement and productivity.
My career has taken many twists and turns – after arriving in Australia in 2013 I ran corporate events for several years before commencing my career in recruitment, executive search and HR consulting. Working in Australia and Canada across talent management consulting, operational and strategic growth roles has given me a broad range of skills and experiences and unique perspective on the talent market. I have an incredible opportunity to provide something different that will support our clients through all of the challenges and opportunities they face across the talent lifecycle.
What we do at Engageability is challenging… we are always innovating, always striving to ensure we are delivering real ROI and often challenging clients to see things from another perspective – telling them things they don’t always want to hear is sometimes the best way to help. These challenges are what drives my passion for what I do, along with the relationships formed along the way; with many clients now life-long friends. Engageability is growing and will continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of our clients. I look forward to the journey in front of us and the many new challenges ahead!

It was a passion for people and creating high-performing organisations that led to the founding of Carrera in 2002. Recruitment had for far too long had a transactional focus. So I established Carrera and set about becoming a true talent consultant.
My career has been in Sales & Marketing and General Management roles. I’ve had the privilege of working with market leading domestic and global brands, leading strategic customer management across grocery, mass merchant and department store channels in Australia before leading the redevelopment of export markets. This involved re-engineering relationships internationally, establishing distribution and ranging in new markets and developing and executing market specific brand and communications strategies.
I founded Carrera with a focus on consumer goods recruitment. As ex-industry professionals we understood the challenges faced by both our clients and candidates on a daily basis; making us uniquely qualified to offer solutions to these challenges and help make a real difference to people’s lives.
I am a problem-solver by nature. I thrive on the opportunity to work with clients, helping them navigate through the complexities of the changing business environment, by giving them tools and strategies to transform their teams and attract and retain the best possible talent.
My strength and passion lies in identifying the real issues at the heart of a business and building a comprehensive solution to optimise the performance of its people and teams - today this solution may come from anyone of our family of brands - Carrera, Engageability and Coachability. I also work personally on executive level search assignments as well as leadership coaching, business advisory and strategic consulting projects; all designed to optimise the performance of businesses through their people.

I joined as a Para Consultant in 2019 while completing my Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney. Happily, I have found that working at Engageability has further ignited the passion for HR and talent management that I have developed through my studies and prior experience. I am loving the journey of applying my learnings from university in a fast-paced environment and expanding my knowledge; gaining real life experience with industry leaders.
Prior to joining Engageability, I held roles in Training and Development and Customer Service at a tech-based SME and completed a HR internship with a law firm last year. I gained significant early experience as a Crew Trainer and Customer Experience Leader at McDonald’s, where I was employed for five years. During my tenure, I created and delivered customised training programs to new and existing employees, which were focused around McDonald’s food handling procedures and customer service fundamentals.
My exposure to leadership was enhanced after being selected to join a leadership development program in Canada in 2018. I was fortunate to visit several renowned Canadian organisations and participate in workshops with industry professionals; gaining broad knowledge and insights into the future of leadership development globally.
I am thriving on the many challenges this role brings on a daily basis and am passionate about connecting with our clients and supporting the delivery of our programs.

I joined the Carrera family mid-2019 as the Team Administrator – tasked with managing everything office and admin related and working as part of the Engageability team to support the delivery of services to our broad range of clients. With over 25 years admin experience across both multinational corporations and small business this is an exciting opportunity for me to use my broad skills in a new industry and very fast paced environment.
In my recent experience with a leading banking institution I was quickly promoted to PA to the CMO which was fantastic to be recognised for my hard work and an opportunity to gain some insight into marketing which has proved useful now at Carrera! I have learnt so much in my time here already and as the CRM super-user am loving the opportunity to improve our client experience while creating efficiencies for the Consultants by streamlining processes and automating some previously arduous administrative tasks.
Our office environment is unique and I take pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our team and clients. We are always creating opportunities to get together as a team – whether to learn or just for fun – my role allows me to embrace my creativity in planning regular team events and outings.
